Mission
The Tower District Preservation Fund is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to preserving the cultural heritage and vibrancy of the Tower District Specific Plan area in Fresno, California. We advance arts and education programs, promote cultural diversity, and support historic preservation so the neighborhood’s identity continues to thrive.
Approach
Historic preservation is not only about maintaining buildings or fostering economic growth—it is about protecting the heritage that shapes who we are. We believe art and cultural experiences inspire, educate, and unite people from all walks of life. By making those experiences accessible, we help build a more vibrant, interconnected, and empathetic Tower community.
Equitable access
Equitable access is at the core of our mission. We create opportunities for everyone—regardless of financial circumstances—to engage with the cultural richness of the Tower District, including programs such as our Measure P–supported Jazz Series and community events.
